Jessica Sole and the badlands
Jessica Sole and The Badlands are a 6 piece country group based out of the GTA. They formed in 2018 after all meeting at Humber College in the Country Ensemble. The name "Jessica Sole and The Badlands" pays homage to the Badlands in Caledon, which is Jessica’s hometown.
The instrumentation in the group consists of lead voice, background vocals, fiddle, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, and drums.
Though each member is from a different part of Ontario, they all met while studying music at Humber College, and have been playing country music together for over 2 years now. Being from Canada, they have a current "North of Nashville” sound.
Jessica Sole and The Badlands always have a great time performing, and there is always a contagiously good vibe and fun energy on their stage. You can tell they have been friends for years.
Jessica Sole and The Badlands cover a wide range of country music from new country, to classics everyone loves, to Canadian country music. Along with covers, they also perform original music.
Jessica is working on her EP called “Here For The Long Run” which features the band on each track. The EP is set to be released in June 2020. Head to www.jessicasolemusic.com, www.instagram.com/jessicasole_ or www.facebook.com/jessicasolemusic for more info on show dates and the upcoming EP release.
